In an 1891 letter to his fiancée, the late Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis, disturbed by “the wickedness of people shielding wrongdoers and passing them off as honest men,” mused about trust, economic fraud and the “duty of publicity,” His conclusion:

“If the broad light of day could be let in upon men’s actions, it would purify them as the sun disinfects.”

Brandeis postulated that if ordinary citizens understood things like complicated financial instruments, they could protect themselves from greed and “unscrupulous capitalists.”

Jump forward 127 years and it seems that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Fake news, biased content and continuous reports of bad corporate and governmental behavior have caused consumer trust to crash in the United States. According to the 2018 Edelman Trust Barometer, the US populace has, in one year, become the least trusting of all surveyed countries.

We believe that open transparency and immutable proof points are the foundation to rebuilding consumer trust. And distributed ledger technologies like Blockchain can empower both consumers and brands. Our mission is to connect brands with blockchain use cases to regain trust, grow revenue and reduce risk.

Welcome to our new path!
